Chaos Rings
Chaos Rings is an RPG released exclusively for iPhone. It's part action RPG, part dungeon crawler, part fighting or combat RPG. It lacks some of the features commonly found in many RPGs, and has been described as an "action adventure with RPG elements". There aren't towns and sidequests, for example. As it is one of the highest priced games so far, more classic RPG fans may want to read some reviews before taking the plunge. One reviewer described it as an "arcade RPG" and says: "if the pleasure you derive from an RPG stems from intricate storylines, huge sprawling lands, endless equipment, guilds, buying property, combining items and alchemy, etc. then this isn't the game for you." Chaos Rings does have random encounters, and there's turn-based combat so no button-mashing. Many players have been very impressed, and the graphics have come in for a lot of praise.
