Sword & Poker
This is a card playing game with strong RPG elements, and it really does work like a proper RPG. You defeat monsters in different areas to earn gold for weapons and shields, which greatly affect the "combat" in the form of a poker-style card game. You don't need to know poker to play it, and you'll pick it up very quickly. If you just want to play the card part, there's also a two-player mode.
